pgb-Europe, based in Melle, Belgium, manufactures and wholesales screws, bolts, anchors, and wood connectors.

With 30,000 items in stock, customers order via Belgian and Polish webshops, shipping 1,400 tons monthly across Europe, with Belgium accounting for 65% of revenue.

THE CHALLENGE

Needing to stand out in a competitive market by providing accurate, detailed product information to both professionals and retail customers, pgb-Europe needed to make product information a focal point alongside quality.

However, data was scattered across multiple systems, and the new webshop increased the need for consistency, raising errors and workload.

A single source of truth was essential to centralise and manage all product content, from marketing to technical specifications and multimedia.

SOLUTION

To harmonise data across a complex and heterogeneous application landscape, Arvesta established a central data hub that serves as the single source of truth for product information. The hub ensures data consistency, accessibility, and integrity, while an integration platform connects all systems to enable seamless information flow.

Content is then enriched in the PIM system with detailed descriptions, images, videos, and technical specifications, ensuring every audience receives complete, accurate, and engaging product information.
