2012

THE START OF AN ECOSYSTEM

As a growth accelerator, Gumption invests in and partners with market leaders and emerging companies with valuable expertise in digital transformation. With companies such as TheValueChain and Bmatix, it lays the foundation for a group focused on business processes, data & analytics, and IT technology.

2014 – 2017

INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION

Gumption takes its first steps beyond Flanders with an office in Luxembourg, followed by expansion into the Netherlands and Wavre. This growth reflects the ambition to support clients more broadly, including in French-speaking and international contexts.

2016 - 2018

ACCELERATION AND SCALE

The group is growing rapidly in both the number of companies and the breadth of its expertise. New players strengthen the ecosystem and create a complementary offering. In 2018, Gumption reaches a first major milestone: more than 400 employees and revenue exceeding €50 million.

2021

AN INTEGRATED MODEL THAT WORKS

For many clients, the results-driven one-stop-shop model proves its value. During the pandemic, the 360° approach helps secure several scarce, highly competitive projects. Gumption defines an ambitious five-year plan and invests in its management team and the professionalisation of the organisation.

2022

GROWTH AND REINFORCEMENTS

With Praxis as an investment partner, Gumption accelerates its buy-and-build strategy. The group surpasses €100 million in revenue and grows to more than 800 employees across 14 companies.

2023 - 2024

FROM EXPERTISE TO SOLUTION

Gumption increasingly focuses on consulting with assets: a combination of advisory, technology and proprietary solutions that create value quickly. New companies and initiatives strengthen this model, with a focus on speed, scalability and measurable impact.

With a renewed strategy, expressed through a meaningful strapline, Gumption takes the next step in its positioning.
